Lab Write-Up Organization

Several of you are having issues with the organization of your labs and lab data.  Here is a quick overview of the sections for your lab write-ups in your notebooks:

INTRODUCTION

Objective:  What you are doing
Purpose:  Why you are doing it.

HYPOTHESIS
Manipulated Variable
Responding Variable
Controlled Variable(s)

Written Hypothesis:  If manipulated, then responding, because science.

DATA TABLE

This includes your data and calculation table from the Lab presentation

SAMPLE CALCULATIONS

Here you will list one complete example solution for any calculation you do for the lab.  This means writing the equation, substituting in your data and writing your final answer (to include the units)

ANALYSIS
This is where your analysis questions and/or graphs will go.

CONCLUSION
Your written 5 point conclusion based on the data analysis above.
This section will also include an error analysis entry when required.
